just discovered your substack via habiter and am thoroughly inspired. i am wondering about your feel jeans experience -- they look like the perfect nonchalant straight leg on everyone I see in them but the size chart makes me nervous as someone with significant hips and butt, even taking potential alterations into account. do you have any fit advice?
Hi, that means so much - thank you :) I, too, consider myself to have a significant hips/butt situation. I would suggest reaching out to their customer care address for fit assistance, they will tell you exactly how and where to measure yourself and suggest your best size. I will say, they are always quite stiff and snugger than expected when they first arrive. I always have a minor panic attack that I’ve gotten the wrong size but they always break in after 3-5 wears and suddenly they’re perfect and not as snug. So, measure properly and break them in would be my best advice!
