Four summer errands outfits I wore and loved.

I hope you’ve enjoyed the guest features this summer as I tend to some personal projects—most notably, a home renovation that has uprooted our family for several weeks. We’re leaning in with long stretches of vacation and housesitting in between, but taking multiple trips and being out of the house for over a month with a four-year-old and no consistent childcare to speak of? Mentally I’m here. Anyway, popping in with four outfits I’ve run errands in lately and enjoyed…

OUTFIT 1

• Adidas navy and neon green pants via eBay: Here’s a pair in an XL and a similar pair in a medium.

• KYE Intimates recline bateau sleeveless top

• Ancient Greek Sandals ‘saionara’ jelly sandals

• LL Bean monogrammed ‘boat and tote’

OUTFIT 2

• Yumiko ‘daniella’ leotard via eBay: A recent summer hobby of mine is hunting for vintage (or vintage-looking) sportswear. I’ve worn this leotard as a swimsuit or with “real clothes” as a bodysuit. A reader in the subscriber chat pointed out that it looks like Rory Gilmore’s swimsuit, and while that wasn’t the reference point, very much yes to that. Here’s a purple version (S), turquoise with purple trim (L), and mine in an XS.

• Brooke Callahan tie pants: I regret to inform you that my knee-length shorts of the same color were irreversibly damaged in my luggage following a trip to the beach. I needed this color back in my life, so I decided to go for the pants this time so I could wear them well into fall.

• Vintage navy t-shirt via Mothfood: While you can find vintage navy t-shirts virtually anywhere, Mothfood’s blanks collection is quite good.

• Vintage Prada wedges via Poshmark: I found them in a 38.5 on eBay.

• Vintage Miu Miu barrel bag via Poshmark

OUTFIT 4

• Vintage Levi 501s via Passport Vintage

• Vintage Christian Dior button-down: Similar in a wider stripe here.

• LL Bean monogrammed ‘boat and tote’

• Thistles ‘the al’ sunglasses

My earrings are the small bubble hoops by Agmes, and my necklace is their sculpted heart pendant. The bracelet is Simuero, but it appears to be sold out.
