June Outfits II

It's a boardshorts summer, I fear!

Inspired by the silhouette of my new Brooke Callahan tie shorts, I took a pair of tailor’s scissors to a pair of old FEEL jeans. The pair in question was my first postpartum denim purchase, now well-worn and a few sizes too big—I’ve worn the shorts everywhere from a kids’ birthday party to the farmer’s market and out to lunch with a friend. I’m considering altering my baggy white pair to this style next… stay tuned. Anyway, long shorts may have usurped capris as my new summer clothing fixation. Before we get into what I plan on wearing this month, a few knee-length shorts for your consideration:

A quick housekeeping note: I’ve omitted the “where I’d wear it” notes, as they’ve become a bit redundant. Just know I mostly dress for daytime activities/errands, meetings/work commitments, and evening events/dinners out.
