January Outfits
I bought a cashmere hair ribbon to feel a little something.
It’s getting darker and colder around here, so much of what I put on my body to leave the house in is dictated by the weather app… but the show must go on. To assuage plummeting temps, I purchased a blue cashmere hair ribbon for myself as a little treat last month.
As for January’s outfits, I am keeping to my comfort zone and swapping out staple pieces in similar silhouettes. Lots of denim, leather, knits–rinse and repeat.
OUTFIT 1 (left)

The Line by K ‘becks’ long sleeve top: Give me a bateau neckline any day.

Vintage black leather trench via Maj Kiosk: A find from their November drop; Maj Kiosk is quickly becoming my favorite secondhand curator.

Where I’d wear it: A very good daytime outfit for errands, lunch, a walk, whatever!

Lacausa ‘Bronson’ skirt in espresso
The Line by K black ‘becks’ short sleeve top: The black, short sleeve version of the top from outfit 1.
Vintage Prada flower sandals via TRR: A very good shoe that popped up in a saved search one day.
Vintage black leather bag via eBay: My 90s Banana Republic flap bag, which happens to perfectly mirror the white stitching of the Prada sandals.
Brooke Callahan black flower belt: The shoes begged for it.
Where I’d wear it: Listen. The forecast for the first week of January is in the 60s, so this feels like a reasonable addition, but I’ll swap the sandals for black boots if necessary. All in all, a very good ‘going to dinner’ outfit.

Nicole Saldana ‘Fabiana’ mary-jane: I included these in the December newsletter but failed to note them! I preordered them in the fall and they were worth the wait.
Comme Si everyday socks in white: A very good crew sock.
Girlfriend Collective leggings: I’ve had these… forever?

Where I’d wear it: The coat is the outfit; I’d wear this on a coffee run or walk when it’s freezing out.
