50 links to fall & winter pieces via The RealReal, Vestiaire Collective, eBay, etc.

The Row sample sale “haul” content has found me, and I cannot discern the earnest reviews from the satire. I am once again asking you to consider resale apps when adding items to your wardrobe—getting comfortable with The RealReal, Vestiaire Collective, eBay, Gem, Poshmark, et. al., will yield dividends for your closet. Yes, designer vintage abounds on these sites, but chances are the new J. Crew cashmere sweater you’re adding to cart exists on ThredUp for less than half of its retail price.
And I’ve always said that.
Here are 50 links to secondhand and vintage designer pieces I’ve saved from around the internet lately. This newsletter is far too long for email; open it in your browser to view.
Starting off with this printed leather Emporio Armani jacket for under $100.
A lamb-leather Max Mara collarless trench for under $250? Unheard of.
A bright blue Prada Sport Gore-Tex jacket for inclement weather.
To know me is to understand that I deeply enjoy an indigo denim jacket or blazer—sharing a few next, starting with this early 2000s Jil Sander.
I own and love this 2001 Dolce & Gabbana denim button-up jacket. I wore it this past weekend to dinner paired with a Max Mara black wool knee-length skirt (via ThredUp), vintage black leather Jimmy Choo ‘peony’ boots (via Poshmark), and my Prada ‘Re-Edition 1995’ spazzolato tote (via TRR).
Intrigued by this Ined by Yohji Yamamoto denim zip up.
Finally, a classic, will-never-go-out-of-style Dries Van Noten vintage 2000s denim jacket.
A Tom Ford-era Gucci (seemingly perfect) leather jacket for those looking to invest.
Would you look at this Loewe lambskin leather blazer?
And this reversible (!!) Bally leather jacket.
More Bally—this vintage soft leather zip-up jacket is incredible.
I love the effect of this Prada ombre leather blazer.
Christian Dior Sport wool trench coat in a warm, buttery hue.
A classic black nylon Prada collared trench that feels CBK-coded.
Or, try this Prada Gore-Tex cream trench coat.
Seriously considering this vintage Dolce & Gabbana black corduroy long jacket.
Big fan of the collar on this Prada cotton trench.
This vintage 90s Miu Miu wool blazer is on my short list for when my TRR site credit is paid out next month.
I own this Jil Sander nylon double zip jacket in a pale shade of yellow, which I found at my local consignment shop. I like to wear mine as a top with dark wash denim.
Also on my short list: this Prada Sport puffer coat.
I can’t make heads or tails of the color of this Jil Sander stretch-wool blazer, but a message to the seller would clear that right up.
Whispered “chic” to myself when I spotted this two-piece black skirt suit by Plein Sud.
While more of a collector's piece, I feel compelled to alert you of this 2003 Tom Ford for YSL silk dress.
Layer up with this Prada Sport brown turtleneck.
Prada Sport fleece pieces have become a bit of an obsession for me. Let’s start with this SS99 Prada Sport “duck egg baby blue” roll-neck fleece.
And this black Prada fleece jacket.
I bought these Prada Sport fleece pants in chocolate brown (find black pairs in medium & small on eBay) for a trip to the mountains I’m taking this November.
A fitted black Prada button-down with stovepipe jeans or tailored wool trousers punctuated by a Manolo Blahnik kitten heel is a go-to fall outfit for me. Another, similar version here.
See also: a tailored white Prada button-down.
Or, how about this striped Vivenne Westwood button down with baggy vintage Levis?
You can’t go wrong with a pair of Prada Sport brown nylon trousers.
Another good trouser: a Prada straight leg grey wool pair.
And this $33 pair of Giorgio Armani wide-leg wool trousers.
Wear them with this Prada wool v-neck shell from the SS2001 collection.
There’s something about this ‘90s Celine striped sweater…
Who is willing to bet it all on a pair of final sale Miu Miu lambskin pants?
A good pair of vintage selvedge Levi 501s.
Classic patent leather Prada driving loafers.
I love the silhouette of these zucca FF monogram Fendi mules.
If I didn’t already own a near-identical pair, I would buy these chocolate brown knee-high Manolo Blahnik boots.
Extremely sexy metallic silver thong-heeled sandals by Prada.
And these chocolate brown snakeskin Manolo Blahnik t-strap sandals. Or, this cherry red pair.
Very good colors on this Anna Sui wool plaid wrap skirt.
This chocolate-brown leather Salvatore Ferragamo bag with gathered detailing is severely underpriced at $160.
A pair of silver Cerrutti 1881 sunglasses to keep it interesting.
And, an honorable mention for this $12 box of Barneys matches (I thought about it).
