An early spring status report featuring ‘90s Plein Sud, Olga Basha, and Pien Studios.

The trees are bursting with fluffy pink petals, my sinuses are on fire, and the will to live is slowly returning to my body. There’s nothing like the return of leather trench weather to remind me why I love getting dressed. That, and the intoxicating high of acquiring a dream vintage piece. Which brings me to:
I kept it. Other new additions this season include more practical items: a KYE Intimates longsleeve top, a pair of Olga Basha jeans, and scarf-belt by Pien Studios. All have emerged as MVPs for early spring dressing.
Here are four outfits I’ve worn (or plan to wear) this spring…
OUTFIT 1
Olga Basha ‘Petra’ mid-rise jeans: I got my pair from Café Forgot, which is currently sold out of the style. I highly recommend emailing them so you can be alerted when new stock comes in (this is what I did and only ended up waiting a month or so for my size to be restocked).
KYE Intimates ‘recline’ bateau longsleeve: 10/10 top, no notes.
Vintage Max Mara leather trench via Vestiaire Collective
Bottega Veneta crushed leather pumps via The RealReal: A few pairs are currently on the site now: 9, 9.5 & 10.
Thistles ‘the al’ sunglasses
Find Kapoor ‘patty’ bag (no longer available): I found it on eBay here.
Where I’ve worn it: This outfit quickly emerged as an early spring uniform for whenever I need to leave the house and look presentable. I’ve worn it countless times over the past few weeks to go out to dinner, to meetings, to run errands, etc.
OUTFIT 2
Vintage late 90s Plein Sud leather dress via The RealReal: If you, too, wish to be wrapped in pale blue leather this spring, consider this Cynthia Rowley pale blue lambskin leather dress.
Vintage Manolo Blahnik kitten heels via TRR: The style will pop up on TRR from time to time, but they get snatched up quickly. I don’t know a better shoe.

Where I’ll wear it: Taurus season is nigh, and I intend to find an opportunity to wear it soon.
OUTFIT 3
Olga Basha ‘Petra’ mid-rise jeans
Vintage 2000s Dolce & Gabbana denim jacket via TRR: Available in size medium here.
Maryam Nassir Zadeh ‘olympia’ wedge via TRR: Resale sites are filled with this style in varying sizes and colorways. Mine are gold-tinged metallic, but I love this pale yellow pair (size 10).
Find Kapoor ‘patty’ bag
Where I wore it: To dinner with friends, with the KYE longsleeve underneath.
OUTFIT 4
A YOON ‘Zora’ boatneck tee
Maryam Nassir Zadeh dance pants: An old colorway, but here is a lighter version.

Vintage Max Mara leather trench via Vestiaire Collective
Vintage 2000s Gucci evening bag via eBay: Available here and here.
Pien Studios scarf-belt
Where I wore it: To an early evening work event.
On the topic of spring dressing, I recently published a round-up of links to vintage pieces by Prada, JPG, Manolo Blahnik, Agnes B., etc. A lot has been snapped up already, but a few pieces are still available (including my pair of Manolo kitten heels in blue):

The plein sud is next level. Whatever you paid it was worth it
That Plein Sud dress - the Real Real photo was a bit of a shrug for me, but seeing it worn - wow! I hadn't even noticed the detail - and you look fabulous.
