Building outfits from my recent Vestiaire and The RealReal saves, part II.

From time to time, I’ll share links to recent items I’ve saved on The RealReal via the subscriber chat, but every so often, my ‘saves’ pile up, and I see so much outfit potential in them. So, I’m back with another edition of my low-rent Polyvore.

This time I’m also pulling from my saves on Vestiaire Collective, a site I’ve dabbled in but have always found a little less user-friendly and more overwhelming than TRR. That said, there is a neverending treasure trove of excellent vintage finds on the resale site, you just have to dig. So, here’s what I would wear if my closet contained my recent Vestiaire and TRR ‘saves’ ….

OUTFIT 1

• extreme cashmere cardigan

• Miu Miu boxer shorts

• Prada leather riding boots

• Miu Miu leather and mesh bag

• Miu Miu square sunglasses

Where I’d wear it: To walk around a museum, the grocery store, to lunch… a very good daytime look.

OUTFIT 2

• Extreme Cashmere turtleneck sweater

• Prada strapless slip

• Prada square toe boots

• Miu Miu matelasse mini tote

Where I’d wear it: I’d wear this with the cashmere sweater on top of the slip — or tied around my waist — to dinner and drinks.

OUTFIT 3

• extreme cashmere strapless dress

• Andrew Marc lambskin leather jacket

• Prada leather riding boots

• Vintage Miu Miu bag

Where I’d wear it: I love this outfit so much and am seriously considering the dress (I love how extreme cashmere styles it on their website — the possibilities!). I’d wear this to a meeting, dinner, virtually anywhere.

OUTFIT 4

• Extreme Cashmere crewneck sweater

• Prada strapless slip

• Vintage Prada mules

• Miu Miu leather and mesh bag

Where I’d wear it: A slight variation on outfit 2. I’d style the sweater the same way and add socks.
