Building outfits from my 'obsessions' page on The RealReal.
Occasionally my ‘obsessions’ page on The Real Real will randomly put saved items together in a way that makes me think, I would wear that. Exhibit A, and the inspiration for this letter:
I have talked ad nauseam about my love for TRR, and often drop links to saved pieces I find in the subscriber chat, but I wanted to create something visual that brings the pieces together. So, I dug into my ‘obsessions’ page to create four outfits for you to consider.
OUTFIT 1
Jil Sander vintage yellow leather blazer
Celine vintage grey wrap skirt (from the Michael Kors collection)

Where I’d wear it: The combination of a leather jacket and open-toed shoe gives you about 20 days out of the year you could reasonably wear this outfit, but there is something very Rachel Green about this look that I love. I would wear it to any work thing I have in April or October.
OUTFIT 2
Warren Edwards neutral sandal
Gucci red ‘GG’ canvas pochette
Celine pleated dark grey skirt
Where I’d wear it: For a walk and early dinner on a warm fall day, and with this Jil Sander long leather coat when it gets chilly.
OUTFIT 3
Moschino Jeans asymetrical pink dress
Miu Miu small yellow leather bag
Manolo Blahnik brown suede thongs
Where I’d wear it: To dinner and drinks on a summer night.
OUTFIT 4
Prada vintage 2002 navy blue silk corset top (please click through and enjoy the back of this top)
Gucci checkered wool skirt
Prada brown leather slingback
Where I’d wear it: I would wear this in a professional setting for a meeting or dinner, or out to grab drinks with my husband. The combination of the corset top and wool skirt makes this look feel appropriate in different settings.
Remember that website Polyvore? Well, halfway through creating these outfits I realized I was essentially reenacting the 2010s outfit building website that we all know and loved.
