Early Spring 2026
A lot of denim and vintage jackets.

Hi, I missed you. I took the winter months off from documenting my outfits because… I felt like it! I did finally procure a perfect, ankle-skimming cashmere-wool coat that has carried me far this season, along with a Mountain Hardware black down jacket that I got on eBay and don each morning for school drop-off (similar here—it’s imperative to pull the waist drawstrings for a whisper of a shape). Anyway, it was 80 F yesterday, and I’ve moved on from all of that.
Another update, as you may have surmised from the title, I intend to pop in with outfit updates seasonally rather than monthly. After 3.5 years of documenting my outfits each month, I’ve grown increasingly tired of talking about myself on the World Wide Web. I’ll be back when I have things to say and resale links to share.
This spring, I plan on taking full advantage of my vintage jacket collection—new additions include an incredible cupro single-breasted black blazer from Malin Landaeus, a Y2K-era Helmut Lang denim jacket with dramatically cuffed sleeves, and an oversized L.L. Bean barn jacket in the most satisfying red hue. Here’s what I look forward to wearing these next few months…
OUTFIT 1
Marithé + François Girbaud cupro jacket via Malin Landaeus: This was one of the funnest shopping experiences I’ve had in a while, maybe ever? I walked in on a rainy Friday morning after enjoying the cherry-chocolate french toast at Diner, and had the place to myself. I spent nearly 2 hours exploring the racks and tried on some truly incredible pieces. Find another style from the same designer here.
Uniqlo x J.W. Anderson straight-leg jeans: While the pictured mid-blue wash isn't on the website, other washes are available (including navy, which I also own).
Vintage Manolo Blahnik kitten heels via The RealReal: This US 9 pair is listed as “pale pink,” but the straps look nearly identical to mine. I also found a pair in brown croc (US 6).
Prada ‘Re-Edition 1995’ spazzolato tote via TRR: The CBK-maxxing seems to have taken a toll on the resale market for this bag, but they will pop up on The RealReal occasionally.
OUTFIT 2
1999 Helmut Lang denim jacket via TRR: I found it on eBay (EU 40), plus a similar jacket in a darker wash (US 2).
Vintage Prada belt via TRR
Chanel ballet flats via TRR: My pair in a 37 here.
Vintage early 2000s Prada nylon duffle bag via TRR: Available here, here, and here.
OUTFIT 3
Vintage L.L. Bean barn jacket via 10 ft. Single by Stella Dallas: There are a ton of these jackets available on resale sites… too many to link, but I’m happy to verify the exact style in the comments.
Los Angeles Apparel baby rib v-neck: A great cotton tee that I’ve snapped up in a few colors.
Vintage GAP carpenter jeans: My favorite jeans on earth were a $30 impulse buy on Poshmark.
Chanel ballet flats via TRR
OUTFIT 4
Burberry’s button-up via TRR: A really, very good minty green.
J.Crew cashmere crewneck sweater
Vintage GAP carpenter jeans
Chanel ballet flats via TRR
OUTFIT 5
A YOON ‘Zora’ boatneck tee
Vintage Max Mara leather trench via Vestiaire Collective
Vintage early 2000s Prada nylon duffle bag via TRR
Vintage Manolo Blahnik kitten heels via TRR
OUTFIT 6
KYE Intimates recline bateau longsleeve top
Vintage Prada brown wool trousers via TRR: I found similar styles in EU 44 and US M on TRR.
Prada ‘Re-Edition 1995’ spazzolato tote via TRR
Pien Studios stretch scarf: I can’t find this light blue version anywhere, but I love it in white.
That’s all for now, but in case you missed it, a roundup of vintage bags and other spring pieces (including some more Helmut Lang denim jackets) from last month:
Footnotes 028
I’m back with another link round-up (anything to avoid taking pictures of my outfits in abysmal winter lighting with 10 inches of snow on the ground). This time with 30-something links to vintage pieces to consider for spring—and a couple of cold-weather appropriate items at the end to snap us back into reality.
Thank you for being here—see you in the chat. 💌

I’m going to miss your monthly posts! It’s always so refreshing seeing your outfits amidst all the generic style here on Substack (though I completely understand you wanting to limit your digital footprint, etc.) ❤️
